It started with a love of space and classic rock. When we were children, my sister and I would listen to the Monkees' "Pleasant Valley Sunday" and wonder what our favorite sci-fi characters would do if they ever found themselves in this perfect suburban valley.

The fascination in the juxtaposition of a fantastical space life and an everyday suburban life stuck, and when the assignment of creating a music video arose, the premise of comparing the two lives begged to be explored. Maybe, in the end, they weren't so different after all...
